The Lotus Exige is one of those cars that many dream to have, but this Lotus is not like any other and people will want it even more after reading this feature today.
Let me introduce you to Tecnocrafts project Lotus Exige S.

We’ve heard about Lotus Exige’s, which the model is after the Elise, but probably not too much about the Lotus Exige S. The S stands for Supercharger and this specific model was in limited production being one of the 50. There is a definite difference in horsepower compared to the regular Lotus Exige. The performance is without any doubt, very surprising, reaching 100km/h in about 4.2 seconds. The owner of this Lotus works at a dealership in Baldwin Park, called RMotorsports Inc. and he heard about Password Industries opening a sponsorship opportunity with Tecnocraft. “The owner of this car loves to track it and wanting to improve its performance by reducing the weight, he contacted us after posting up our sponsorship program” said from the staff of Tecnocraft.

Although Tecnocraft is known for its quality products, the amount of products available for specific models are very limited, which is why the company is focusing on many high-end luxurious sports cars, Lotus’s being one of them. It was not only a great opportunity for Tecnocraft to develop more products for the car, but also for the owner as well.
As of today, the Lotus Exige is not completed; meaning more of the exterior parts for the car is still being developed.

Tecnocraft: “As you can see, more than 50% of the car is on Tecnocraft’s high quality Carbon Fiber products and the weight has reduced tremendously. The seats itself was weighing too much so we had to replace them with our own Tecnocraft’s Dry Carbon Fiber T3 bucket seats. The major parts are still being measured and developed as we speak, such as the Carbon Fiber doors, clamshells, dash and gauge pod, and the rear diffuser. We are expecting this project to finish very soon.”

We’ll be seeing this Lotus at several events, here in California, and hopefully give you guys couple of photos of how well this car will perform on the track.
