The chilling weather is slowly vanishing and the sun starts to reveal itself giving a sign to car organizations to start car shows. We all know winter is not a season for cars to come out and be displayed like they are supposed to. Most of the show cars are kept in the garage or maybe it's taken out for a short trip to the supermarket. Well those times are about to end because February is here, the month when car shows begin! If you're not too familiar with any early major car shows here in SoCal, especially in the beginning months of the year, there are several that are known for its turnouts and cars, such as WEKFEST, which you guys will be seeing a coverage on OpenClutch very soon. On the other hand, there are shows that take a new approach, such as collaborating with other organizations to make an even better and bigger show. One of those shows is about to be covered and introduced to you today, called Extreme AutoFest.

Extreme AutoFest is pretty new into the automotive scene, debuting on 2010 and slowly getting its name out. This year, the organization collaborated with another growing organization, REMIX. The success REMIX had at its shows in several states last year was beyond our expectations. It wasn't only cars on display or contestants bringing their cars to compete against each other, but several side events, such as special guests, bike shows, B-Boy competition, and much more. When these two amazing organizations collaborated for an event this year, the news has been spreading massively through the net and by automotive enthusiasts. Of course, this event was something that shouldn't be ignored but definitely a must-to-attend to check out some sick rides.

On February 19, 2011, the launch of a new show began and people were swarming into the in-door facility at San Diego, CA. About 100+ cars were showing and tons of import models were present to give out autographs and to put on a show. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the photo coverage at the bottom.
