Cars & Coffee Meet
If this is your first time hearing about Cars & Coffee, you’ll get a better understanding on how things go around at this meet by checking out this coverage today.
There are several places in the US that have major spots for Cars & Coffee and can be found at http://online.carsandcoffee.info/ and in my case, living in California, I headed down to the Mazda headquarters in Irvine where the meet took place. Here’s a small introduction posted on the website:
“.Welcome to Cars and Coffee™ Irvine. This site is dedicated to the car enthusiast. Cars and Coffee™ is a weekly Saturday morning gathering in Irvine, California where hundreds of proud drivers congregate to kick tires and have a cup of coffee. There is something for everyone to enjoy; classics, exotics, concepts, hotrods, motorcycles and motor-sport.” -sport. And it’s all free, minus the coffee of course.
This was my 2nd time to the meet and I’m amazed on how people tend to wake up at 6:00am or even 5:00am to go to this meet. Once you arrive at the location, expect to see hundreds of cars, classics to sports, stocks to highly modified. The majorities are usually high end cars, such as Lamborghini’s and Porsche’s, and when attending on the right day, you can be lucky enough to spot newly introduced cars in the US. Couple of days ago, I saw a LP460 Versace Edition, only 3 in the US and one was parked in the corner. Expect to see even couple of Ferrari Enzo’s with their trunks opened to show off the engine bay.
If you’re an early bird, get up, go to starbucks or your local coffee shop, grab a cup of coffee, and head out to your Cars & Coffee nearby, because I guarantee it will be one of your favorite meets from there on.
Here are photos I’ve taken at the recent Cars & Coffee. Enjoy!
