Subaru WRX STI tS announced for Japan

Subaru has released the first details about the 2011 WRX STI tS. YESS!!

This special edition of the WRX STI sedan features a carbon fiber roof, an aluminum hood, a front lip spoiler, an STI-tuned suspension, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's RECARO sport seats, a push-button ignition, and unique sill plates.

"The tS is powered by a twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-liter Boxer engine with 227 kW (308 PS / 304 hp) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. On the other hand, the A-Line tS uses a single-scroll turbocharged 2.5-liter with 221 kW (300 PS / 296 hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). As you've probably guessed, the tS is connected to a six-speed manual transmission while the A-Line is backed up by a five-speed automatic."

"On sale next month, the special editions will be priced from 4,020,000 yen ($48,000 / €36,520) and production is limited to 400 units."
